We never met, I only read about Lizzie in the newspaper and forwarded the articles to my own daughter just before she went to Iraq.  I've since become friends with Jennifer and learned what a precious child Lizze is.  She's just out of our grasp.  God Bless.

I would like to speak for those that I used to work with....

We were in Afghanistan and had received care packages from an organization in California. Included was a pack of AA batteries that were a big relief to see while we were away on the war on terror there.

I had emailed Lizzie to thank her for sending them and had said how much appreciated they were for everyone.

Thank you Lizzie for what you did for us there.....

We will never forget what you did, and you will be in our hearts.

So many memories of one of the sweetest girls I've ever known.  You were such a special friend to Kelli.  She learned from you what is was to take care of someone who taught her how to meet others needs.  Yet you never required any one to really take care of you, because you were so strong and independent.  You were always there for Kelli and understood better than anyone on this earth how to listen to her and help her when she was facing problems.  She misses you greatly everyday.  We feel an empty spot where your kind spirit and sweet smile that was there every time we saw you.  I especially remember the time you literally jumped out of the car and RAN inside the convenience store behind Kelli.  I had never seen you run and it was a wonderful sight to see.  Now you can run and jump all the time and that is a praise.
